SCOPE

Pick up multiple oversized silos, tanks, and machinery, including a 47mt dryer, from the Port in Valleyfield, QC, and deliver to site—located off a major boulevard in Montreal’s West Island.

Challenge

This project required multiple daily oversized deliveries, over the course of a week, to a busy construction site located on a traffic-heavy boulevard. Communication and coordination between multiple parties, including the terminal operator at the port, escorts, truck drivers, and site personnel was crucial, as the site needed to properly position a crane prior to each delivery, while maintaining the safety of all other site workers performing other daily duties on site.
